The 2004 Outdoor Retailer show brought my friends Hal Rueling and Beth Childers into town from Telluride for the week, and they brought their friend Tim Brown from Crested Butte.  Even though skiing is truly an individual sport, what would a great day be without friends to share it with?  Sure, there is an old saying "No friends on a powder day."  I don't know about the validity of that statement anymore, as the four of us had a spectacular day chasing each other around Snowbird's STEEP AND DEEP.    We worked that mountain as much as it worked us!
